OSCAR Refund Policy

Effective 27 September 2026

This policy covers payments for OSCAR Pro. OSCAR itself is free and open source; there is nothing to refund for it.

OSCAR Pro is sold through Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, adds any sales tax, and makes refunds to the card or account you paid with. You can ask Paddle or us; either way it is the same refund.

Try it first

Every account can try OSCAR Pro free for 30 days, with no card and no payment details. Please use the trial to decide whether Pro is right for you before you pay.

Monthly plan

Monthly payments are not refunded. You can cancel at any time, and Pro keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for.

Yearly plan

If you change your mind, ask within 14 days of a yearly payment and we refund it in full, as long as the account has not used Pro since that payment: no interface made public and no schedule set up. After 14 days, or once Pro has been used, the payment is not refunded; cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro keeps working until the end of the year you have paid for.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, from the link in any of Paddle's emails about your subscription, or by writing to us. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account goes back to the Free Tier. Cancelling on its own does not refund the period already paid for.

When we end something

If we stop offering a plan you are paying for, or remove a paid feature without a fair alternative, we refund the unused part of your period, as the terms say.

What is not refunded

Monthly payments; yearly payments after 14 days or once Pro has been used; and accounts closed for breaking the terms, such as abuse of the relay or of the free trial.

Payments before 27 September 2026

A payment made before 27 September 2026 is refunded under the policy in force when it was made: in full, within 14 days of the first payment, for any reason.

Nothing here limits a refund or a right to cancel that consumer law gives you where you live.

How to ask

Write to hello@createwithoscar.site from the email address on your account, or reply to your receipt from Paddle, and say which payment you mean. Refunds go back to the original payment method; how long they take to appear is up to your bank.
